Flash
The Flash Professional program was a completely new program for me. It gets real involved and if you’re not careful it is very easy to get confused on what area of the program that you are in or are supposed to be working in. It was tough to get use to at first but the more I practiced and played with it’s functions the more I got use to the program. The Flash program is used mostly to produce mini movies. When I say mini movies, I mean things like animation movies, screen savers, picture slide shows, and one can even use it for doing some additional editing and posting of home videos.
The clips above were all produced in flash. The assignment was to create the videos using the different motion tweens offered by the flash program. The first is my shape tween. This tween can be used to make screen savers and any video where you want to make shapes move and mold into different shapes, positions, and even colors. My particular video could be used as a screen saver or an into to something because it ends as a black screen.

The second video is a time progressing piece using a shape tween. I used the general shape of a clock and made it so it had both a progression change with the colors and also an immediate change using the arm of the clock. It gives the clock almost a Salvador Dali feel.
The third video is one that if made longer with more motion could be also used as a screen saver. What I did with this is I brought in a photograph of mine, adjusted its shape and then I gave it a motion tween so it would slide across the screen.
