I also learned about vector images and the Adobe Illustrator program. First of course, I had to become acclimated with the new program, which was a new program to me. I did this by completing a tutorial on making a fruit bowl, all done in Illustrator. After completing that, my next assignment was to create a logo of some sort using only the Illustrator program, that was an interesting challenge because first I had to figure out what exactly constituted a logo. In connection with that I also had to design a business card for myself, because normally a company and or product would include their logo on their business cards.

Logo

This is the logo that I developed. In the methods class I was in at the time we held a Youth Technology Day, which was a one day program that we set up, where a group of home schooled students came to SUNY Oswego and got to learn some about the colleges technology department and got to be taught a quick lesson by several of our teacher candidates. The department used this logo as the official Youth Technology Day logo that got put on all the letter heads, signs, name tags, and tee-shirts.

Business Card

This is the business card that I developed. Everyone now days needs a good business card and since I do custom painting on the side I decided that for my business card assignment that I would make one that I would actually be able to hand out when I was finished. I developed this by using both the Photoshop and Illustrator programs.
